Get Active in Avila- 25DaysofSloToday is Day 15 of 25 Days of SLO Digital Adventure through San Luis Obispo with me, The Leesh!

Today we are getting outdoors! (We have to work off that frozen yogurt, right?!) As a semi-new runner, having accomplished 3 half marathons in the last two years or so, I have started really like running new places and trying new trails. It can really take your mind off the motions of running and you can see some pretty spectacular scenery while you are at it.

But whether you are a runner or not, Avila Beach is such a great place to be active! You can walk the pier, jog the Bob Jones trail, bike down the cute little streets or scoot along the trail. There is also a great golf course that is gorgeous! And of course (when it is warm enough) you can swim, boogie, paddle, skim or long board.

While you are there, make sure to grab a sandwich and a coffee and then hit up some of the wineries… there is a wine bar in town and a cute little winery with peacocks roaming around on your way into town (Kelsey Sea Canyon). Any way you choose to slice it, you will love it! Enjoy!
